This young girl of Mali has a sweet, tender countenance. She's holding a teddy bear that I created, which she received through the Mother Bear Project. This is bear #4 of mine (so far) that I've spotted in the field...via the Mother Bear Project Gallery. Thanks to the MBP, for providing the comfort of hand knit and crocheted teddy bears to the children of Africa....from the hands and hearts of hundreds (perhaps thousands) of volunteer knitters and crocheters worldwide. Being a part of this project opens and warms my heart. Giving, is indeed its own reward.
