Making a difference through knitting...

This blog primarily features my knitting projects for charity which include: teddy bears for children of the Mother Bear Project which benefits the children of Africa; and in the future, scarves for the Red Scarf Project - a part of the Foster Care to Success program for college students.

Independent of my charity knitting: The Bear Hugs Children's Fund is near and dear to my heart. They are a compassionate, creative and thoughtful charity making a huge difference in the lives of children near and far. Their mission is to bring a s.m.i.l.e. to children across the world by making sure each has: shelter, medical assistance, independence, love and education.
